Surprising diversity!!
The campsite is located in the heart of german state "Rheinland-Pfalz" (Rhineland-Palatinate), where the different landscapes of Hunsrück and Rheinhessen meet with the rivers Nahe and Rhine. Woodlands, crags, large vineyards, castles and idyllic villages, it's all there to be discovered. It is an area of history and stories. Romans, slain franks and medieval principalities left their traces here. Lots of monasteries, castles and their ruins can be toured. The Nahe region a perfect starting point to explore Rhineland-Palatinate from its heart!
From here you may visit the castles and ruins along the river Rhine.The Crucenia Spa at Bad Kreuznach invites for some relaxing hours. And what about scrolling through the vineyards?

On these pages you'll find an overview of places of interest. We show you interesting spots at the Nahe region, the hills of the Soonwald and the Hunsrück and the lovely valley of the Glan. Then we proceed to the central Rhine valley and will also visit Mainz, the capital of Rhineland-Palatinate. Finally we return to the valley of the Guldenbach where our campsite is located.
